I ordered a psp value pack from https://www.savastore.com yesterday. It said in stock 2-5 days so I was'nt really expecting to get it as I'd pre-ordered a giga pack from gameplay and had it cancelled and no one else seems to have stock. Today I got an email saying its been despatched.
The only thing is the email says please note
We have received supplies of Sony PSPs with the
incorrect manual enclosed. So as not to delay your
order we have not opened the box or checked the
contents. You can download a copy of the correct
manual by clicking on the link below.
I take it this means it will be an import. Does anyone know if there will be any major differences as my daughter wants to be able to play homebrew games.0 -

It does sound like an import.
Homebrew games can only be played on PSP up firmware V2.0 which the get down graded to Version V1.5
BUT: Some of the imported PSP are now V2.01 which CAN NOT be downgraded yet.0 -
Just gone into my local HMV and have pre-ordered a PSP Giga pack that I can pick up tomorrow. Cost £214.99.
For those that don't know this includes the value pack and a 1GB Pro Duo Card. Most shops (Like GAME) are only selling this as a package with 2 (naff) games for about £280.
They told me that they are getting 15 in and have so far had 5-10 pre-ordered. I think it helped that it wasn't advertised anywhere in store, I just asked one of the guys about it.0 -
Which local store??0

Hi all,
Here's my experince I wouldn't want you to go through, on Monday this week Argos mailed me at 11:44 to inform me the PSP was in stock, within 5 minutes of recieving the e-mail, I had placed my order, got a confirmation of my order at 16:36 and delivery date was for 16th November yesterday) my order came but no PSP, just game and accessory pack, I phoned up customer services to be told that Sony had let them down and they don't have the PSP's, they also took the full amount from my account yesterday too knowing that they haven't sent the full order and told me I will get a refund within 7-10 days  I'm really fedup at the fact that they e-mailed me telling me they had stock when in fact they didn't and why did they take the whole amount when they had only sent me the game and accessory pack, needless to say I'm rather fedup and dissapointed with Argos and just hope that none of you go through the same situation.
Oh hi btw just registered today0
