I placed an order from epinnacle on Monday and an order from Boots on Tuesday

Epinnacle assured me the item was in stock but I cancelled today as my order from Boots arrived and I still had no confirmation of when the epinnacle order was being delivered

No problems getting a refund but I was a bit dubious; they were in stock but couldn't tell me when they were going to deliver.....??

Anyway I got what I wanted in the end and can now relax until Christmas!!!
  • Epinnacle seem too good to be true.
I wonder if their stock levels are accurate
    Has anyone used them?

I've had an order on with them for some time well around 9 days, they just change the stock levels every day and they are always in stock, I had a mail yesterday saying delivery will be 5-10 days, so they are not in stock I'm afraid. This is two companies I've been caught with now like this, trouble is instinct tells me it can;t be true but I still end up ordering with them.

  • I placed an order with https://www.mydv.co.uk for a sony dcr dvd403e i paid £479.99 but they have in the last couple of days put it up to £579.99. Ordered on the 14th october and came today.
Customer service stinks and if you do buy from them check how much they take out as over charged me nearly £100 and blamed it on the exchange rate!
Funny thing is, that it is a UK web site but the merchandise comes direct from the USA and customer service is there too.

Your experience seems to match the 'chatter' I mention above - items overcharged , incorrect or just plain not turning up. Guess you just have to be glad you got your item , though I wonder if you would have ordered at the final price, especially as you now have to deal with an oveseas company if anything goes wrong.
