stupid question re 0% on purchases..

i'm going to be making a big purchase next month and want to put it on a 0% on purchases on cc and i've found capital one have a card which has 0% until 1st July 2009 and then its 12.9% but i'd of switched and cancelled by then.

what i want to make sure before i make a big mistake Interest Rates Rate Notes:There is an introductory rate for purchases of 0% p.a. until 1st July 2009. After this time the rate will revert to 12.9% p.a. Balance Transfers:There is an introductory rate for balance transfers of 0% p.a. until 1st July 2009. After the introductory period the rate will revert to 12.9% p.a.

this definately means that any purchases made on the card within this time will be 0% interest until July 2009?

stupid question i know but i'm not with it this morning and cant concentrate properly.

Yes this is correct.

Provided you make the Minmum Payments on time during the promotional period you will pay no interest until 1st July 2009.

If you still have a balance after 1st July 2009 then this will start to accrue interest at 12.9% from this date onwards.
