The Times
p.20 of T2 has the Get Set for School voucher which I posted late yesterday. It is £5 off £12 spend on stationary, which includes computer stuff like memory sticks and ink cartridges.
It is not one of the 99 barcodes (I don't relaly understand these - if anyone has a link that explains it, I'd be greatful.)
You have to use the voucher either today or tomorrow.0 -

Barcodes are easy to understand really, they consist of 13 digits and look like this example from the £2 Esquire coupon from the Times on Tuesday
9914994072008
However we are not interested in the whole number just the parts in red in the example below
9914994072008
The 99 means it will scan universally and the 200 gives the value of the coupon in pence i.e 200 pence or £2
Hope that helpsDon't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0 -

No, I can't see this either.
I have scanned through the Times, and the only thing I can see is the WH Smith voucher (£5 or £12 spend, mentioned above), and the heavy advertising of getting the Times on subscription at 20% off, or free delivery for those in London (p. 34).0 -

wow never knew that. now I'm looking at every barcode I see lol15st 4lb, week 3 - steady as we go
15st 6lb, week 1 - here we go0 -
I knew the 200 part at end of a barcode but not the 99 thing.
What number is it if it only scans, say at Asda only?Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -

The 99 is the UK standard prefix for all standard coupons that follow the EAN13 system , I believe those starting 98 are for Ireland.
Asda's tills recognise 99s too0
