Please share the result of the return email, I do hope that they join soon so that I can have faster transactions and stop loosing interest through the transfer process.

I've asked them a couple of times, the first time (around May) they said they weren't going to introduce it, the second time (around a month ago) they said they were considering introducing it later in the year.

I've had the same response too. Apparently they are waiting on their clearing bank(NatWest) to give the go-ahead even though NatWest are using Faster Payments themselves.

    Thanks for the good news!

BTW, I think in future whether a savings account offers FPS or not may be a signficant contributing factor in deciding whether I open it.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Does anyone know if Bradford and Bingly will be introducing this
  • Well I sent the email at midnight and received a response at 13:45 - not bad!
    Thank you for your enquiry.

We will be participating in the faster payments scheme, but currently do not have a definite date when this will happen.

We will be notifying our customers once we have the facility.

I hope this answers your query, if not please do not hesitate to get back in touch.

    Yours sincerely,
