Sharing NTL

Hi

Just got the new laptop home, have NTL Broadband on desktop; How do i get this on laptop.

have put instal disc in, unplugged usb from modem and put ethernet in it and to the laptop and it says it cant establish connection.

Any ideas???

    If you connect a new PC (or NIC) to NTL directly (no router), you normally need to switch the NTL unit of and back on (leave of for 60 seconds), this then when switched back on, recognizes the new PC (or NIC).
