according to the figure based on HOUSEHOLD EXPENDITURE 2006/2007 that the OR uses your allowed £187 for housekeeping IF Your Miss avarage so will depend on the area you live in and will vary up and down accordingly. Its also based on out of date figures anyway, as we know prices are rocketing at the moment for everything
as for the rent £925 sounds a lot but is it the going rate for the property you rent in your area, if so and as long as its not extravigant for your needs the OR cant refuse it, you to have a roof over your head and if thats what it costs...........Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
thanks for the feedback.
Well 925 is what my rent is ... it is a two bedroom property so is more than I need but that is the situation.
Thanks for the feedback on housekeeping. I'll keep it as it is and have my fingers crossed.
I'll lower the meals at work a little too
... I posted new threads as I wasn't sure people would keep returning to the same one and then my new questions may get overlooked. Thanks for the advice.
The rent concerns me. I know it is high. Oh well, I can only wait to see.
thanks0 -
If it's norm for the area then it should be ok. As long as it does not have 7 bedrooms,a pool ect it should be ok.Free impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
