Vote with your feet - Do NOT use NCP Car Parks

Exactly the same thing has just happened to us in Multi-Storey 2 at Birmingham Airport.
We returned from a week’s holiday late Saturday night only to find our car gone, I specifically chose on site parking as I presumed it would be secure?
A family with two young, scared and cold children we were offered no support or help to get home, when we asked, we were just referred back to their “Terms and Conditions” and given directions to the Taxi rank.
Absolutely shocking.

I'm absolutely shocked at people's experiences!
It just makes me even more pleased I usually book 'hotel & Parking' deals when, on the rare occasions, we go away. We stayed at East Midlands Hilton Hotel in August - £80 for room and up to 2 weeks parking and we are booked in at the Holiday Inn at Heathrow including 2 weeks parking for under £70!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

I had my spare wheel stolen from beneath the vehicle whilst it was parked in the NCP Long Stay car park.
Whilst not wanting to point the finger at who may be responsible, the thief spent some time re-securing the frame which holds the wheel, with the intention I would not where the wheel had been stolen.
I contacted NCP but did not get the courtesy of a reply.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0 -
I never take my own car to the airport. For local trips I use a taxi. For long distance trips (Heathrow or Birmingham) I do one way car rental to the airport and then back home again afterwards. That way I avoid the parking fees and never have to remember where my car is because I just pick one up from the rental desk.0

Why is that better? your car could still have been stolen
To the OP it does sound like the manager is an ..........., but would any other car park in the country have been any different? Do any car parks accaept liability for stolen cars? I doubt it.0 -

No doubt my car could get stolen in the Hilton or Holiday Inn's car park but I would hope the staff would be a little more helpful at looking at CCTV footage and involving the police. We've never had a problem - so far!
Has anyone had their car stolen from a hotel's car park and how did/didn't they help you?DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
