Query for a friend,he bought the above laptop for his son and it is 2 weeks old ,already having problems with the screen half of it is ok the other half is with lines and blank,is he within his rights to take it back and ask for a refund?Not a repair.

within 28 days, DSGi will refund, that is the policy, so make sure they stick to it when your friend goes in to get their refund
they will try get you to exchange to same or different model though.
they will also test it to make sure it isn't damage to the machine, and it is an actual fault.
now if it was dropped, or opened wrongly, etc etc, then this could cause issues.0
