Thanks to all of you, I have today paid off OH's last c/c :j
Don't get me wrong, we've got him down from £28000 last August to £10100 as of today which is fantastic.....
But I'm really sad to see the last c/c go! How stupid is that? It was an M&S life of balancer, and I took all the advice & didn't spend on it once the balance transfer was on there. I think I liked the bill coming in every month & seeing the pittance of interest they charged!

I think it symbolised a turning point in the finances, turning 'bad' 24% apr into 'better' 4.7% apr, which is why I'm sad to see it go (not sad enough not to have the letter of closure ready & waiting in a stamped envelope though)
The thing is, if I'd not found this site I would never have known how to do things like this.0 -
well done you :T closing one next month and can't wait... would it be more fun to do it over the phone though?!0
