Hi,
I don't seem to have any antivirus program on my laptop. I think there was one when i first got it but the free trial has expired.
I use windows vista and it's a laptop although i only ever use it from home.
Is there something free i can get??
I have a firewall but no antivirus
all suggestions welcome please

AVG, Avira AntiVir and Avast seem to be the main free ones people recommend.

I personally use AVG and find it to be VERY good
Though I also recommend installing firefox with the NOSCRIPT plugin to browse the web. Also SPYBOT to stop certain popups:idea:0 -
don't forget to remove your exisiting antivirus package before installing the new oneEx forum ambassador

I use Avast and am very pleased with it. Found AVG a bit heavy on resources and couldn't get int Avira0

My parents currently use the ME operating system and I have been trying to find a free antivirus program that is compatible, as the ones already recommended on the main website are not compatible with ME.
Any ideas?0 -
