If you have planning permission for a garage in your back garden, and the plans were passed for car storage, are you allowed to store house hold items,e.g sofas, beds?
Also what is the law when parking om the road, are you allowed to mount the pavement,as property is on a bend in the road?
Can anyone help?

you can store almost anything in the garage. no official is going to knock on your door at 3 in morning.
re the pavement. you should get PP and a drop kerb installed. some councils insist that you use them or their approved contractors. (another con).
ive done my own drop kerb and never had a problem. your neighbours maybe more nosey.Get some gorm.0 -
As far as I am aware you can stick anything you like in it.
Mine is full of junk - and the car, next doors is really full of junk - their car is never in it.
Parking on the pavement may be illegal in your area

Depends if there is a planning condition restricting it's use for car parking only - in which case, no, you can't use it for household storage. Have a look at the planning decision notice for its original construction.0
