ipaq or blackberry?

I've got the option of getting either a blackberry bold or an ipaq (most models). I don't know much about them, so I don't really know which is best. The only thing it absolutely has to have is wi-fi, and it needs to be a pda type thing so I can access emails and websites on it.
I quite like the idea of having GPS in it, but that only seems to come with ones that are also a mobile phone, and they are kind of bulky to have to carry around all the time. So maybe it's better to keep my phone and pda thing seperate.
I also prefer the larger screen of the ipaqs but then the blackberry has the proper keyboard, and I am guessing that it's quite a faff to type a long email with a touch screen keyboard.
Are there any other big differences I am missing?
Does anyone have any opinions on them?

When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.
