I haven't won yet - I've entered every day for the past 2 and a half weeks - it's the Virgin virgin thing all over again.

Now if they do cost 85p a shot, I'm going to be well miffed!

Yippee, I am finally a bowtime winner! Got a text last night :j Fingers crossed for the fridge as we could really do with a new one. I had stopped entering this competition a while ago as I was being charged 40p a time to send the text to Strongbow and wasn't winning anything. However, I figured people would be giving up entering this now so more chance for me to win something, so I gave it another go!

I was suprised by my phone bill too, for some reason i thought it only cost 12p for the first text, and that the rest were free.... seems not!

I'm on a contract with O2 (CPW) - guy I spoke to deffo said they were 85p.. but then again I also queried why a cost of a text to the same irish number was different.. he said the 'network' decides what the charges are! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

so far 12p, 40p + 85p..... any more?

Well I just checked my phone bill online (02) and it says I have texted that number 29 times and I have been charged £2.50 in total, so that is roughly 8p a text. Phew!! Must be the tariff I am on.
