After Bankruptcy

Please could you advise me on which banks would offer me the best service, I have recently been released from Insolvancy(bankruptcy) and so have the worst credit score possible.

I need as most in a modern Britain a bank account that has the following facilities-
  • Current account,
  • Standing order/Direct debit,
  • Easy accessible
  • Visa or Mastercard facility for when on holiday, instead of paying with local currency and buying items over the internet.
Many thx for your time.

Comments

  • You will find it difficult to even open a basic bank account with some banks because of your bankruptcy.
What I would do is get a letter now from the trustee confirming that you have been discharged - this could make a difference.
