I vaugley remember entering a local competition to win a holiday. A few days ago I was contacted by Alpha Travel Services to say I had won £600 of holiday vouchers. I need to attend a 90 min holiday exhibition, so I'm assuming it is one of these hard sell companies. I,ve been adviced that I do not need to take a check book or credit card.

Has anyone heard of this company?

    I have just returned from one of the seminars as arranged by Alpha Travel, which I went to under the promise of £600 vouchers.
    I had specifically asked Alpha travel as to the nature of the vouchers as I suspected it would be along the lines of spend £1000 and get a £50 voucher, or spend £1500 and get a £75 voucher etc... Alpha Travel advised me that this as a straight £600 voucher and if I then booked a holiday for £800 then the total I would pay is the outstanding £200... this was exactly what she said!!! What a complete LIE!!!!!!!!!!

    The vouchers are indeed exactly what I suspected and are infact worthless!!! THEY ARE NOT WORTH £600 as I was advised.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:
