Leaking Bath Mixer Tap

Bumping this up from thread on anther topic.
I have taps similar to these: http://www.wickes.co.uk/Como/Como-Bath-Shower-Mixer-Taps/invt/417600
When the cold is turned low or off the back pressure causes water to leak as a spray from the nut connecting the tap to the base unit. Does anyone know how to service this type of tap?
Gawain.

Hi
I would have asked the same question as Razor. As you don't know if it has a washer I assume you didn't buy the tap new.? You need to undo the two unions and check the washers, replace if needed . (local plumbers merchant should be able to help.)

That's right, I didn't buy them new. I took them off the old bath and installed them on the new one. Thanks.0
