:rotfl::rotfl:Real world just merges/integrates into comp land (my dd came home from school with her brand new homework diary and I am just about to go through it as some of the adverts mention competitions... then my son has bought some cube world electronic toys and he's handed me a leaflet with 'register to win' written on it, plus he got his latest magazine yesterday and I need to see what comps are in that).
I'm the same kisto, I scruntise every magazine/leaflet that comes into the house & when I go to relatives I do the same lol2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

My youngest(2.5) starts pre-school tomorrow:eek: I'm gonna be a nervous wreck in the morning! I remember when my eldest started, she was very clingy and wouldn't let me leave so they had to distract her while I lept out of the door. All I could hear was her screaming for me! I used to get home and cry, I was so upset. I felt like a wicked mother but after a while she was ok. She's starting Year 6 tomorrow!
NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT!

I always enjoyed the start of a new school year especially when I was to be a Year Seven tutor.
The year group would meet in the Hall at 8:30 all clean with knotted ties and shirts tucked in and deathly quiet. The Head would come in and spout for a bit and then the Head of year. I'd look at the list of my tutor group spotting familiar names of younger brothers and sisters and even of parents I had taught as children.
Then the children would be called out into their groups to be led away by their tutors for an hour or so in their tutor rooms.
A first chance to get to know each other. They would shuffle nervously into my laboratory where I would make a seating plan and tell them my expectations and hand out timetables and diaries before they would go off to their first lessons. They would always sit silently and listen carefully and would invariably forget most of it.
They quickly find their feet though. By lunchtime their ties are unknotted and their shirts are hanging out and the battle begins :rotfl::beer:Any war that lasts for longer than five years should be declared a draw.:beer:0
