When a council flat is let to a tennant do the council supply a bed .chairs table .curtains etc etc or does the tennant have to provede them hinself ?

I would presume that the council would just supply the property and the tenant provides their own furniture
there are a few community charities in my area that take away unwanted furniture,bedding, crockery etc to help those in need of assistance to furnish their properties0 -
Im afraid all household items and furniture is the tennants responsibility to provide.

freecyccle or various charities help new owners. try oxfam, salvation army and wrvs.
google for local charities in your area. there are lots of community project furniture recylcers about.Get some gorm.0
