  • Been to look at a house today, more than enough room for us all. Were not to sure if it's the rigght house for us though. LL wants a months rent deposit (£895) plus 1 months rent up front. Even if i cancel the mortgage payment that is due out on Monday (£780) there is no way we can raise that amount of money. He has had other people looking round aswell today.
The main reason i would like this house is because it is private rent. Ive read on here that EA will wont at least 6 months rent up front and/or a garuntor.
When i cancel the mortgage dd, we will have about 4 - 6 weeks before they start proceeding against us.
I was thinking as a stalling tactic, what if we paid SPML £200 over the phone , then do the same the next month & the next & see how long we can get away with it for?
What do you think, i know they are quick off the mark regarding missed payments, not like NR!!! Wish i had a mortgage with them!!
  • Going to ring EA this morning regarding some house that are on right move. I'll find out then what requirements we need to have.
    xx
