Please Help - Need Advice On Creating A Blog

I recently applied for a trainee online marketer job. The application said that I would be advertising for companys and all training will be provided. I have advertised before on google/yahoo before, so I applied for the job.

Yesterday I had an email asking me to attend an interview next week. But the email also said ' We would like you to create a blog for a male clothes websites (they gave me the link to the website) to see your present skills.

I have a few ideas what to put in the blog, but i dont actualy know where to start? What do I do the blog on (program/website?), and do you have an other thoughts what to put on a clothes blog?
I know im probably over my head, but id realy like to have a try and the job sounds like something id enjoy once trained.
