Luton to London
Hi
I'm travelling from Luton to London on the 24th September.
What are all my options - ie which train companies operate this route?
I've found a £6 fare on Easybus but could I get it cheaper by train (with YP card) and maker it a quicker journey?
Thanks in advance

When i go from Luton to SE London on a railcard, it costs £9.50ish for a day return, or £16ish for an open return (where the return ticket is valid for a month)
Can be cheaper if your only going to north london though, but that easybus price looks fairly good.
From Luton, you can get East midlands trains direct to St pancras, or First capital connect to all stations from Luton to St pancras, London bridge/blackfriars/city thameslink and farringdon. At weekends, most First capital connect trains will terminate at St Pancras though, and you would need to get the tube from there which would be included in your ticket.0 -
\asked daughter, she saying she uses a young person combined card, train/tube
Its now a Capital train ( used to be Thames link) takes 50/60 mins about £12 return0 -
You can't use your YP railcard before 9.30am, unless it's changed since I was a youngster and the fare is then £22 and is quite a good service0
