Now that is an awesome tip - had to go and do some shopping before posting to say "thank you". Thank you very much indeed! I have spent less than £30 on 12 towels which we were thinking of buying at the weekend ... for considerably more!

Ask her to look out for student discount vouchers at her college fresher's fayres - last year Wilkinsons offered 10% discounts on merchandise that is already inexpensive. They also gave away limited numbers of £1 vouchers and from what I remember free plastic spatulas (value 0.29GBP).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I chose Rose although its difficult to see the actual colour. My dd did ask for pink &/or purple - so she should be pleased.
