deleting google search terms?

I want to delete the search terms entered into google. I've tried deleting internet history, cookies and browsing history - but when I type into google previous search terms still pop up. How can I clear this????

open up internet explorer.....tools....internet options......content tab.....auto complete settings.....turn off what you need to turn offIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
