At the moment I am looking through my files to see if I can find the date on which I cancelled the PPI with the Co-Op., so hopefully I can report back on this.

However, on 9th February 2010 I cancelled the PPI on my Barclaycard. I'm unsure if I can reclaim these premiums because I have the policy document here and, this was taken out on 17th May 1999. I did not retire until December 2002 - any advice would be appreciated as to whether I should even try to reclaim this.

On the same date I also cancelled the PPI on my Mint C.Card but was told that I had to wait 30days to have this done - the final payment will be taken 30 days from the 9th Feb after which the policy will be cancelled and no further premiums will be taken. The problem with this one is that I have no idea when I took out my Mint Card and I am having trouble finding the policy document - anyone know what my next step should be or, if I have a right to claim or try to claim back the PPI here?

I also wanted to hear from anyone who has done this, if it is a long drawn out or, complicated process even if one is not successful?
