Can anyone on a dmp with cccs give me some advice please

Do you know if they have the addresses for the creditors i havent got them , also do you think i will have to send the token payment as i have made one last payment to my old dmp due to come out tomorrow to keep them off my back although llyods are phoning all the time so i put them on block dont know if im allowed to but i did say i wanted them to deal with me either through dmp or in writing. Sorry for so many questions im just a little confused by all this lol

Hi,
I'm on a long term dmp with CCCS, they are fantastic!

If Lloyds are on your current dmp, then ( if you answer calls ) remind them of this, then handle the change to CCCS when that happens.

If Lloyds are not on dmp, tell them that you are speaking to CCCs to formulate a fair and reasonable repayment schedule for all your creditors and you are doing all you can to settle your debts.

CCCS will know details of your creditors, if not ( and you have no paper records ) check t'interweb.

Make sure you know which are covered by credit agreements...do you have them....have you even signed one, especially for stuff arranged over the 'phone.

CCCS will help with even the daftest of Q's, I know...I've asked enough!!

Above all, dont worry too much, you are taking responsibilty and doing the right thing.

Hi thanks yes llyods are on my dmp everything i owe except my car finance is on dmp so i have no credit ,i continuosly tell them i am going thorugh someone else and they still ring up all hours theyre a pain the worst ive had to deal with, cars ony got 9 payments left of which the last is a big one so need to put some money away for that then the payments i wouldve been paying on that can go towards dmp too hopefully taking it off the low start dmp onto a normal one!!

The aim is to make you feel only temporarily miserable!!
Anybody constantly ringing you up when they know you are on dmp is guilty of harrassment under the OFT Debt Collecion Guidelines, write to them (dont sign letter, better to email ) and tell them this, tell them that you insist that they take your number OFF their automated dialling system.
They have to abide by these rules....and always use the magic words...I am doing all I can to repay the debt through (dmp co ) and you should be contacting them, thank you!
