EPC advise

Hi folks
Was looking for some advise, if anyone can help. I've arranged to get our EPC and am having some difficulties with the comany. I paid over a month ago and keep trying to get in touch with them to arrange for them to come out but its a nightmare. The number on their website just rings out and the guy who first called us isnt answering his phone or replying to our answer messages.
I was wondering if the assessors are governed by anyone, we're really looking to make a complaint about the company as I don't think they're above board. Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance

Yes, there are a few governing bodies for EPC assessors but you will need to know which one to complain too. However i had a complaint about one and got nowhere very slowly.0

On the subject of EPCs there is such a glut of assessors and shortage of work that there is no need to pay more than £40 to get one done now. It's a totally uneconomic price but they're cutting each other's throats to get a sniff of any work.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

You got stung because you paid in advance. Pay when they come to do the job. Although £40 is cheap compared to what it used to be it is still a lot for what you get.
At the end of the day we could soon thrash out what anyone's EPC rating would be on here with a few relevant questions.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
