Another Rent Lease Question

Hi,

Ive posted recently about my LL passing his property back to the mortgage company and then being issued with a notice to quit.

I did have a new 12 month lease but didnt sign it as there was confusion as to who the agreement would be between.

Today my letting agent told me to sign and give him the lease as a signed lease would mean I cant get kicked out.

What would you guys do in this case? I appreciate the feedback as ever.

that is not true - the legal contract between the lender and your LL over-rides the legality of the contract between you and the LA - a LA who talks rubbish by the sound of it - if the court grants possession of the property to the Lender the will probably give you 28 days to leave - i;d start looking for somewhere else to live if i were you
  • I thought that.

Its concerning, they wont get this flat sold and Im willing to stay here for another 12 months.
  • Essentially.. the LA wants to tell the company that the lease was signed before the problems started.
