Bespoke leanto greenhouse

I'd like to have a greenhouse at the back of the house over some french windows - so that I get the benefits of a greenhouse to my gardening & the insulating / draft proofing benefits on a drafty 'wall' of the house. It would run between an older extended kitchen and the boundary wall and be about 2m by 3m, but quite high to get over the top of the french windows.
Trouble is, to fit properly, I'm guessing I'd need to get someone to build a made to measure greenhouse and have no idea how to goo about finding someone.
Do I need to get an architect to draw up plans & go through planning permission? (We have other extensions to the house, so any 'free' percentage will have already been used. What's the difference between a greenhouse and a conservatory?
Anyone know how I go about finding someone to build this or an idea of how much it could cost?

Regarding the planning-related question, it will be regarded as an extension to the property if it's attached to it. Planning legislation makes no difference between brick-built extensions, lean-tos, conservatories, attached greenhouses - they will all be extensions. So, if you've already 'used up' the permitted development allowance for extending, as it sounds like you have, then it will need planning permission. If you're able, you can do the plans yourself if they're properly drawn to scale etc - no specific need for an architect.0
