Cashminder account declined

I didn't think there were any credit checks on the coop cashminder account - can anyone advise?

I understand they don't credit score, which is different to a credit check, they do check to see you are on the electoral role and they do a fraud check with CIFAS. Are you on the electoral role as this very important, also do check with a CRA your cifas file.

A lot of people open a Cashminder account when they have been declared bankrupt.
