Hi
Hope someone can help me,
I was contacted by a company who offered to reduce my google adwords costs for my company by £2k per month, They offered to put me on the top line of google sponsered links for £3k per month which is a pretty good deal for us as we sped a lot of money with google a year.
However they managed to keep me on the top line for approx 2 hours then went top position 8 then we disapeared altogether!
I contacted them the next day and they eventually called me back half a day later. I managed to get them to pause the campaign so that I could restart ours as we had lost so much business over the last 24 hours.
So here is the problem, they have not responded to any calls or emails, they have sent no paperwork, and now will not send back the money, also they have taken £3600 ish and not £3000 which was the agreed figure.
I have spoken to trading standards and they suggest i write to them, which I have, they have just called and are not intrested saying they have fulfilled their end of the bargin!! and we have entered into a contract with them for 30 days, humm! We have credit with them but we will not be getting a refund.
I told them I would take them to small claims court.
So contacted M & S card, I had to split the balance between 2 cards the other was Mint, I have reported the problem to there fraud dept, the M & S card said as we dont have any paperwork or proof they are not interested.
Any Ideas, or is there any template letters out there, Help

You are a new poster and so will give you the benefit of the doubt - but if this is the case and you do spend this amount of money monthly on advertising I respectfully suggest that you can afford paid for legal advice.0

Another point (thanks to #2) is that contract law treats businesses differently from individuals. Most of us would give advice based on our knowledge and experiences as individuals, but such advice is likely to be wrong and so dangerous for a business such as that run by the OP.0

HI
thanks for that, didnt realise that this forum was just for individuals, I wondered if anyone had simular problems. Being a small business and thought that someone might be able to help, still thanks for the posts, will ask a solicitor :-(0
