Hi
Does anyone know if plastic bags are provided at Stansted airport still for liquids in hand luggage.
It doesn't say on their website...
Cheers

From what I recall (a few months ago) you could get the plastic bags free at Stansted Airport.
East Midlands Airport has a vending machine that you buy the bags in pairs for I think either 50p or £1 for 2.0 -
Every time I've been to Stansted over the last couple of years they have been provided free of charge. My last flight from there was about 2 months ago.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
they're free
located at the rebagging booth near security gates0 -

Bristol is £1 or £2 (can't remember which) for 4 bags. Vending machine is located in security queue.0

They are available from Stansted for free, I bought myslef a box of 7.5"x7.5" just in case but will use the stansted ones when I can.
They are apparantly custom made just for BAA0 -
I flew from Luton a couple of weeks ago 50 pence each0

I have never figured why things need to be put in a plastc bag?
Surely it makes no difference if they are loose in the tray.
They gave up using them at Alicante ages ago.0
