in Credit cards
Hi,
I am broke. I work full time on small pay. I have bills coming out my ears and just had to buy a car (£350). This leaves me with £110 to last me until next payday, 22nd September. I want to find a credit card that will accept me and my bad credit history. I had a mint card but got made redundant so repayments were set at £5 a week until I got a new job. This hurt my credit.
Is there any way for me to get cash on a 6 month repayment basis? (£500 ish)?

tell us a little bit more about your bad credit history as there is a few options out there for you.0

Egg Card - Had £2000 ish and before 0% expired, I transferred to mint.
Mint card - £2000 soon became £4000 and paying minimal. I missed about 4 months payments when I was unemployed so very bad credit rating there.
A&L - Had bank account with £250 OD limit. I was £240 OD and started using another bank account. I then had a charge on the account that took me over the £250 limit. I was charged about 5 times and now I owe £350. I had 0pence at this point. Only option then was to close the account and pass it onto debt collectors.
Barclaycard - £900 now going through debt collectors
Barclays - £1000 OD limit, £890 OD'n. This is where I have £110 for the month.0 -
To be honest I think you'll struggle to get much in the way of any credit card with that history. Try posting on the Dealing With Debt board as the folk there are much more knowledgeable (in general) about debt that folks here and might be able to point in the right direction.0
