DAB radio

This is going to sound really stupid - but if you get a DAB radio, do you just plug it in and play as you would a non-digital one? Or do you need to connect to the internet? And will it pick up stations that I can, at the moment, only play via my pc?

If you are in an area with DAB coverage, you just plug it in (if it's mains powered) and use it.
