hi..I am using a Dell Latitude D620, Win XP(Service Pack 2), inbuilt Inter Pro wireless Adapter.
last 4 months i was using a kind neighbors unsecured wireless network connection. Recently I was updated my antivirus with Norton 360 and did updated Win XP latest updates all. After this updates I could not browse internet but wireless connection showing connected with full speed.
Now i removed norton still I could not browse internet in IE or Firefox.
Now I installed Avira anivirus....but again not able to browse..with or without any antivirus....
Under Network Connections a new icon showing Internet Connection Disabled. I try to enable it ...but it showing connecting... connected then again Disabled state....

Sounds like your neighbours' internet is not working. Can your neighbour connect to the internet?0

Take laptop to mcdonalds, and try it there.
They have free wireless internet..
My bet is that the neighbour has cancelled the BB and not told you, knowing that you dont use it..
Other options are, buy your own internet connection..0
