Water pressure

I unfortunatly haven't got a combi boiler, but I have a hot water tank heated by gas. I recently bought a shower that fitted on the bath taps, but the water pressure is rubbish, so I'm not really experiencing a nice shower.
The tank is upstairs & so is the bathroom. Is there any way of increasing the pressure without having to spend a fortune?

The only way I can think of achieving this is to get a shower pump fitted. Looking at around £125 for the device, plus fitting and any extra bits that may be required.

Perhaps around £300 all in but once you feel the effects of a power shower, I'm sure you'll think its worth it!!0 -
I'm more or less in agreement with sujman except I'd use bes.co.uk and as your starting from scratch is a power shower an option?
Basically theres no cheap way of boosting the pressure.0 -
Hi there,
I had the EXACT same problem. I ended up with a pumped electric shower (no seperate pump just all in one). It cost me about £230 for the unit. Without digging out the manual etc I couldn't tell you anything else but if you want more info just ask and I can look it out!!

Unfortunatly, my house has stripped me of cash for a while. So couldn't afford amounts in the hundreds
