Hello everyone.
Done a bit of a silly thing today by putting my phone in the same bag as a bottle of OXI fabric stain remover and I reckon you can guess the rest.
It didn't really get that wet at all and I wipe the phone as soon as I noticed what had happened. The next few hours the screen flickered for a bit then seemed ok but tonight the screen just went white.
I'm just wondering if the phone has had it or whether it's worth buying a replacement screen.
I've seen a screen on eBay for £15.58 delivered from a Power Seller in China who's had over 8000 sales.
I'll probably buy a phone screw driver and take it apart just to see if I can clean it more.
Many thanks in advance for any help given.
Pete.

Does the phone still work? (Does it ring if you call it)?
To me it seems unlikely that the screen is the problem, it sounds like a more serious problem.
I'd disconnect the battery and leave it a few hours before trying again. Give it a chance to dry out...0 -

Spot on cos I left it overnight and it's come back to life thank god and saved me a trip to Maplins to get a screw driver.
Thing is I put TomTom on the phone and when the contract with 3 runs out the phone still boots up without the sim so still could have used it as Satnav and I can now :rotfl:Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
usually the screen only brakes when you smash it. Its usually the ribbon to the main board that brakes or gets damaged.
Your sorted now anyway£10 a day - Sept 08 £245/£3000
