Problems with HSBC Account

Hi everyone,
Im having problems with my HSBC Current Account. I have an overdraft limit of £200, but i have got my account to £570 in debit, with an extra £130 worth of charges being applied to my account on the 8th September which will take my account to £700 in debit (£500 over my overdraft limit)
I definetley can't afford to pay the £500 in one lump sum, and the bank will not let me extend my overdraft limit.
I was just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience and whether it would be worth talking to HSBC to see if they can let me pay it off over a couple of months?
I was also wondering whether HSBC could take me to court over these outstanding funds?
Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yes-you could talk to someone in the Customer Solutions Team who can help you get back on track-chances are your account will already be looked after by them due to your high debit balance, but they will understand if you explain you have had an oversight and if you've not ignored any correspondence and this is the first time you have done this, then I am sure they will find a reasonable solution for you. Call 08457 404 404 and ask to speak to someone regarding your balance and you would like to talk to someone about arranging repayments.
