Wall Mounted Clothes Hanger

Options
I need some hanging space for my clothes, don't have many but I do not really have the floor space for a full size wardrobe.
I've found these Wall Mounted Clothes Hangers but they're not widely available and the only one I've found is like £80

Any ideas where I can get a cheaper one or any other options?

    have you looked at IKEA?

or tried shopfitters sites? I've just had a breif look ..... http://www.shopfittingsupplies.co.uk/?gclid=CPaz3oyAsJUCFRVQtAodylC8Wg These have some that you make up yourself - though not as stylish but other shopfitterswould probably have other types.

do you have an alcove that you could fit a piece of dowelling?

We recently removed some old fitted wardrobes and replaced them with industrial shelving ( but with a hanging rod accross the top.)

We bought them from a shop fitting company, they come in bits ( poles, shelves and bars etc)
They are not cheap,( but they are good value when compared to fitted wardrobes or short term cheapo crap from argos/ikea etc) I have a lot of clothes and they are so strong and durable, I reckon they will see us out!
We don't like the "industrial look" per se, so we measured across the wall and put in a row of these units and then we mounted a curtain on a track across them to hide it all away, they are fantastic and the beauty of it is they are only about 14 inches deep, so in a small house ( like ours) very space saving.
We like them so much they will be coming with us when we move and as they are not attached to anything, there are no holes!( just the curtain track across it........)
The sad truth is that you do get what you pay for. That is a nice looking unit you posted and I would say if it is going to satisfy your storage needs for £80 that's pretty good value.
  • Ikea do a very similar set up in the 'Antonius' range. You need two uprights, 2 brackets for the shelf and the pole itself. I have this set up in my utility room, it's not as shiny and pretty as the pic posted but is virtually identical and would cost less than £20 for all the components needed.

Brackets - can't get the individual link to work, just type 'antonius brackets' into the search box and it's the first pic.

I'd also say Ikea. As well as the 'antonius' range mentioned, they also do stolmen and other hallway type wall mounted coat/clothes racks which I can't now find on the website!
