I'm thinking of replacing my Canon EOS DSLR 300D with either the,
400 or 450 OR 1000
Which one would you go for and where is the best price/deal atm?
Thanks

Try them in the shops. Try dpreview.com for reviews and camerapricebuster.com for price comparisons/deals. Some of the High St. retailers have some good deals at the mo.0

Personally i'd go up a level and go for the 40D. Prob not much price difference between what you paid for the 300D.
What i paid for my 350D i can now pick up a 40D. Can decide on the 40D and nice lens or the 5D for my next purchase.0 -
Hi
Right, it looks like i've sold my camera today, so i'm now actively looking for a replacement.
Any idea of best deals around atm?0 -
What didn't you like about the 300D?
What features do you need that it didn't have?0 -

Drat! I am in the market for a second-hand first digital SLR, preferably a Canon, and was going to ask how much you wanted for it.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

If anyone is looking to buy Canon gear.....Have a look at "123fstop" on Ebay. Top class prices and top class service. I recently treated myself to a long lens from him and was even able to get Canon Cash Back.
