I have a ViewSonic screen has anyone got one if so it comes on screen saying to change the resolution but how do you do that.

Well depends on your graphics chipset whether there's an easy way to do it through a system tray icon (e.g. nVidia control panel), but general way quickly would be to right click on your desktop wallpaper, click on properties to get the display properties. Select the settings tab. Then there should be a slider bar for resolution or you can click on advanced to get more settings etc.

yes done that thanks but it goes small ie all the icons are around the edge of the screen ( I like like that ) but when changed they form a smaller square as ( all in one 1/4 of the screen )0 -
