  • What I'm good at, I'll start by saying: I am hard working, motivated and I have a great eye for detail. I am friendly and approachable and I work as well in a team as I do on my own. I am confident, determined, enthusiastic and I have a sharp mind. I am a true believer that quitters never win and winners never quit.

Have you taken that straight from a textbook?

What classification did you get for your degree?

What other efforts have you made to find work?

What work experience do you have?

As others have said, making multiple threads on MSE will not help you. It just makes you look like a spammer.
    Gone ... or have I?

I have a BA In Classics from King's College London. I will in any sector. I am very hard working and motivated and I work well on my own and in a team. In fact I can get along with anyone and everyone.

    Thanks

Well, obviously not that great an eye when you leave out the word "work", the very thing you're after.

This is some kind of wind up isn't is?

My opinion Alex is that you are bright but naive to the working world. Employers would usually to know all of the above before considering you - having the balls to post on the public forum isn't enough alone.
Well done for doing something about it though!
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
  • Firstly NiceChap you are not very nice because you have misquoted me on purpose. Secondly no I have not taken that straight out of a textbook. I am and have been making a concerted effort and I do have some work experience but I have just graduated.

Look, please leave your negative comments at home. I have just created a thread to help me in my search for full-time employment and all most of you can do is be negative. Well go ahead, it will not stop me searching.

How about the army and be a military commander ;) with a username like that the world is your oyster
  • Employers can request my CV if they want to know more. I am not going to post it on here but if an employer would like to see it then they can message me quickly.

I'm being a pedant I know - but you were not misquoted.

    Good luck with your quest,

Seriously, you have tried something different, unfortunately wrong path to take, but you have tried and no doubt you will try elsewhere.
