I doubt it'll match the Rodent's cool million though!
Yes agree completely , offset best place to park cash for short term ..as compounded benifits but investments should be sought that will produce long term residual income as the life of a bt is very short ....I take greater risks than most but always work from acovered position
ie I NEVER put myself in a position where i cannot pay the cc down when required EVER.
This said a small % of pot could be utilised in much higher return activities i took a few hundred pounds and started buying stock to sell on ebay i quadrupled my money very quickly and was then playing with "my " money not stooz or cc cash ...I have continued "playing" on ebay and have turned over 400K in the past 12 mths ....and still regularly use bt cash to prchase stock ...........I have used bt cash to buy property as well (as deposits) and i am now sitting on a £5.5m portfolio ......(yep even in today's adjusted figures !!!)
8 years ago i was potless and owed the bank 20K ...which they called in .....i tx the 20K onto 0% cards, put my head down and ran with the ball.....and a lot of cards!!! ..............still running ........

The RodentI guess the key is in knowing that you can always repay your debts from risk-free means, but to that extent, although your results are no less enviable, surely it would be more accurate to say your stooz pot was in risk-free capital?
You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

Glad someone agrees !!!
But getting started on low budget with minimal backup is where the risk lies ...but if carefully researched and planned meticulously with ALL angles (plus a few extras!) covered ..this short term exposure to risk is minimal and short lived ...
