Lidl Televisions

Hi,
Has anyone out there had any experience of Lidl television's are they a decent quality. Does any one know who actually make their Silvercrest brand TV's

Possibly made by Vestel in Turkey, no better or worse than any other budget brand I would assume. Interestingly, they also make some cheaper TVs for Hitachi and Toshiba...

Incidentally, if your username is your actual email address, I would contact site administrator about changing it to something more anonymous - before you start being sent spam.

I'm pretty sure Comag and Silvercrest are the same company, they tend to use Boca and Comag brand names in Germany and the Silvercrest name in France. Lidl import both here.

I don't think they manufacture anything themselves though, for example the Silvercrest/Comag sat receivers are manufactured by OpenTel in Korea and the Silvercrest DVD players are manufactured by Sampo in China/Taiwan.

I would still guess Vestel for the TVs, they seem to be responsible for most of the cheap ones around now...
