Digital Camera Advice Please

Hi,

I went to use my camera to take some piccies for ebay and found the view to be wavy and black and white.

I think I know what happened, the battery went flat while the zoom lens was out and I put it down, left it and it has got damaged.

My question is do you think this will be a pricey job to fix.

many thanks
Caz

If its a cheap camera then its probably uneconomic to repair. Ebay it for spares and some spark might take a risk on it.

It its an expensive camera it might be worth it.

We had a Nikon that went wrong. On their website they have all the details to send it off to be looked at and they'll quote how much. This costs a nominal fee. They fixed ours for free!!!! It was really expensive when first bought though. £650 expensive.
