I need £1000 and im not sure whats best. Do i go for the CC or get a loan?
I need the money for a car and i want to know a few things
- If i buy a car from a private seller can i withdraw cash from a credit card without being charged?
- If iget a loan can i pay it off earlier if i choose?
If you can help that would be great and if possible let me know whats the best cc or loan for me?

Generally, not. Usually you pay cash advance fee and higher interest rate (than on purchases) from the day of withdrawal. However, it is possible sometimes to have money transferred from CC to a current account: What is a Super Balance Transfer?. This is more easy to do if you get Egg Money card in addition to some other card: Free Cash From Credit Cards .superspudking wrote:... can i withdraw cash from a credit card without being charged?
For best BT cards see http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.htm
This depends on type of the loan and T&C. For most of them you pay 'redemption penalty' for early repayment. You don't pay this penalty for 'flexible' loans. Check T&C for redemption penalty and overpayments.- If iget a loan can i pay it off earlier if i choose?
