Blogs are usually for personal use. Think of a blog like a diary.
A website is probably more towards providing a service.
It really depends on what your new site/blog is going to be about/Rules, Rules, Rules .....0 -
so i imagine a website would be more useful...? though it woudl be great to get some feedback from mums for development too.Anthony2oo5 wrote: »Blogs are usually for personal use. Think of a blog like a diary.

Wordpress (wordpress.org for the software or wordpress.com for the hosted version) lets you create static pages as well as the blog styles so on a site I've created using it for a local charity the home page and most others are static pages and I've moved the blog-style bit to the news page where posts can be added and appear at the top.
I was going to PM you an example, but apparently you've exceed your quota of them

As robt inferred. A blog is a type of website or page within a website. And as Anthony2oo5 says all they are is just a personal diary (although can involve many people). There is no difference because one is a subset of the other. It's like asking for the difference between a newspaper and news or a car and a vehicle. One is simply one type of the other. Whether you want to build a blog or have a blog as part of your website completely depends on what your requirements actually are."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
