I love sosmix and have used it for many years, so when I heard they'd stopped making it, I stocked up and now have 3 kilos. Should keep me going for a while!

It makes great sausage rolls, even non veggie friends like them. I also make patties for HM McD style sausage and egg muffins, and I mix it with breadcrumbs, sage and onion to make stuffing.

Sosmix was fantastic, and a vegan staple for years, unfortunately the new owners put milk in it.
    No-idea why - if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I'm trying to track down some Sosmix that's still in date so we can enjoy it one last time before it's gone for ever...

There's a petition to the new owners here:

    Make Sosmix Vegan again

There are a few places still selling Sosmix - the real stuff not the replacement

we get ours from here in 1kg bags

We find its really nice & makes lovely food if used right.
Its all ways worth adding some nice stuff to it like garlic, onion, herbs etc

we make a lovely mock corned beef pie - except it dosent have the gristly fatty bits like my mothers

There is also a replacement for burgermix & a new vegan sausage mix as Im told the current sosmix supplies wont last forever

    Hope that helps

    Thanks Gibby,
I've really missed Sosmix these last few months!
Have you tried the new sausage mix, is it anywhere near as nice as the old sosmix?
