wall park brixham no longer pontins

Hi

we booked this park in January. They cancelled our holiday in May said had work being done. Cancelled further holiday saying lack of bookings and that they were no longer Pontins.

We have now rebooked and are going this weekend. Has any body else gone recently? Have been told site is now heavily guarded:eek:

Wondering what we have let ourselves in for. have rung them but they have not sent brochure but wont tell me who now owns site.

my mom works there, its still pretty much the same as before just new ownership, i can quiz her if you like for any info.

I went 3 yrs ago and it was a flea pit, I really hope for your sake they have changed it.

We have just returned from here and had a great time. I have been searching for a way to book again but am unable to find a web site and they are not included in the latest sun holiday deals. Does anyne know if they will be open next season or if there is a web site I can look at?

i can tell you at the end of season as mom works there as mentioned above but the pontins crew rumor is they are selling it to make luxury flats but brixham survives on rumour and as far as i know moms job is safe at the mo.
i recommend landscove with the sun coupons if you are stuck as its a lot nicer:cool:

thanks, will certainly look at Landscove next time. I know Wall Park accomodation isnt the greatest but we love the atmosphere there and because it is small, the children are free to go off and play without being far away. We went to butlins minehead last year and I hated it. The staff at wall Park are much friendlier and the entertainment far better. Thanks again

DO NOT GO TO LANDSCOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't say strongly enough what a flea pit/dump that place is - we had a bog standard chalet and if you want to stay in a basic shed go ahead and book there. Just come back after one night and now have bronchitis from the horrible place. The Sun should take that park of their list as there were a string of people checking out early saying what a dump it is. On top of it all, entertainment is RUBBISH and the swimming pool was closed all the time. Took a walk to the other Park Holidays resort 5mins down the road and that was worse...

I have been to landscove too! We went the yr b4 last and stayed in their top accommodation at a cost of £900 ouch! IMHO I would stick with haven as you know what your getting. As you can see I have learnt the hard way!

hi..i was a regular visitor at pontins i n brixham..found out PGL had bought them out..only brixham.the other pontins are still pontins..anyway would you know if the blucoats are still there,ie is there still entertainment for the family during the day and evening?..and if they use the characters also...?..thanks
