I have got a copy of Kaspersky Internet Security which I am unable to install.....
I was using Norton 360 which was killing my laptop and so took a free trial of Kaspersky which was great and so bought a copy.
Whilst waiting for the copy to come I needed to install AVG8 to cover the period of the end of the free trial to installing my copy.
HOWEVER....I uninstalled AVG and tried to install Kaspersky which keeps saying that AVG is still on the laptop.
I don't know how to either remove what ever Kaspersky is finding (I have done a search on all areas including hidden and have no AVG files) or if I can bypass the part in the instillation where Kaspersky finds AVG.
HELP
Thanks

Firstly have you made sure Norton is uninstalled? I.e. did you use the actual removal tool? http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
As for AVG, download the latest version, reinstall and then uninstall, remembering to reboot before attempting to install Kaspersky."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Have done all the above...used the uninstall tool and reinstalled AVG and removed it again....all with no change.
